When your voice becomes noise,
When your shrieks turn into nothing but nagging cries,
When your helplessness is seen as a choice,
When your inherent weakness is viewed as a willful guise,
When your basic softness is seen as a reluctant vice,
When your bravest efforts are dismissed as half-hearted measures,
When your life becomes a topic of teatime gossip,
When you feel you have become a source of stress, anxiety and constant headache,
For the one who genuinely once shared in your pain,
When apparently you have many, but covertly realise you have none.
On top of that, when you know you are becoming a burden to the noblest soul,
Who has to carry the weight of all your fruitless efforts,
It's the right time to wrap yourself in the fatal blanket of silence,
The silence that's lonely, yet helps you lose yourself,
Lose in a world within, where you are free to question yourself.
Such is the power of embracing the Silencing Silence.
